Turn one idea into a video the model can follow

Lock the subject and action first, then tell the model how the scene should be filmed.

Prompt grammar

The shape of a useful prompt

Define these six parts before adding decorative detail.

01Subject02Action03Scene04Camera05Light & style06Continuity
ExampleA photographer opens a glass door into a rainy-night bookstore, medium tracking shot, warm lamps against cool neon, realistic cinematic texture, outfit stays consistent.

Place @roles inside the right sentence

Role assets keep people and wardrobe stable. New tags insert at your current cursor or selection instead of being appended to the end.

  1. 1Create a clear single-person reference image in Role references.
  2. 2Place the cursor in the sentence where the role acts.
  3. 3Choose role assets to insert @Character1, @Character2 in selection order.

0–4s: @Character1 waits on a rainy street. 4–8s: @Character2 leaves the bookstore and smiles at @Character1. Keep hair, clothes, and facial features consistent.

Use time ranges so actions do not collide

Give each time range one primary action. Longer clips need more deliberate shot beats.

0–4s

Establish the scene, subject, and framing.

4–8s

Complete one action: enter, turn, or hand over an object.

8–12s

Land the shot with a close-up, pause, or slow pull-back.

Choose the right creation mode

Text to video

For exploring stories, scenes, and camera ideas.

Image to video

For product visuals or a single key image—describe how it moves.

Reference generation

For stable subjects or multi-role scenes—place @roles with each action.

Three efficient workflows

Character short

Generate a role image first, then use @Character1 in time-based shot directions.

Create a role

Product spot

Upload the product visual, verify its shape, then refine lighting and motion.

Create from image

Template first

Keep a template's camera structure and replace the subject, scene, and role tags.

Open templates

30-second preflight check

  • The mode matches the input
  • Role tags sit beside their actions
  • Aspect ratio matches the destination
  • Duration fits the shot list
  • Credit estimate is confirmed

Stabilize the subject before styling the scene

Use the first pass to verify people, composition, and action. Increase duration, resolution, and scene detail only after that foundation works.
